Last updated: 16 October 2026

These terms govern your use of surfacescan.dev (the "website"), operated by WhiteFish Security, Belgium. By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

Scope

These terms cover the public website only: marketing pages, the help center, the blog and the contact form. Use of the SurfaceScan platform itself is governed by a separate service agreement presented at sign-up, which takes precedence for the platform.

Information on this website

Help articles and blog posts are general security guidance provided for information. We aim to keep them accurate, but they are not professional advice for your specific environment, and you should test any change before applying it to production systems. Pricing and features shown may change, and early access pricing is not a binding offer until confirmed in writing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its supporting systems, send automated or abusive traffic, or submit unlawful, harmful or misleading content through the contact form. Only scan systems you own or are authorised to test.

Intellectual property

Disclaimer and liability

The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Belgian or applicable mandatory law.

Third-party links

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The competent courts in Belgium have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply to you.
